These are hand carved from various beautiful woods, here in Accokeek MD. Much of the wood came from downed trees in our neighborhood.
 
We use these to teach kayaking. But they are also beautifully collectible, for the sea kayaker in your life (you too!).
 
They are hand carved, painted, stained, and finally lacquered to protect them against water exposer. 
 
I carry 3 of them in my hatch to teach beach side lessons. ~Randi 
 
All our offerings are unique, variations in finishing and fabric are not to be considered flaws. Rather, variation reinforces the hand-made quality.
