Amazing Keys Adventure

Interested in doing a trip to the Keys in January with some of the most entertaining and knowledgable coaches around? Coaching staff, in addition to Randi, will be Dawn Stewart and maybe even Brian Stevens.

I will be going, whether I have four people or ten people to lead. We max out around ten. We have loaner gear to cover anywhere from 4 to 6 paddlers.

Bring all your floaty toys and join us at a beautiful resort on the Gulf-side for a Bucket List level adventure. We can paddle directly from our resort, and most of the day trips will be run from there. We will also lead some other trips that will require some transport.

We will paddle kayaks, SUPs for those who bring them, float, swim, snorkel, roll, you name it, we'll do it...

Cost is $1400 per person, including up to 7 days of paddling and 8 nights stay in shared villas. This also covers full-time coaches/safety staff & guides. The resort has a protected boat launch, out door shower, heated pool, protected lagoon for swimming and rolling, laundry facilities, and shuffle board, in case you are sick of the water. It's within walking distance of the best breakfast/coffee shop, and great restaurants.

Gear/kayak loans available for $250, includes kayak and paddle.

Randi has gone to the Keys every January for years to scout out the best trips for sea kayakers. She has amassed a ton of knowledge about the area, found the best places to stay, and knows a few paddle-up bars as well ;-)

*We will also be pulling on local knowledge, using a guide who is well-known to the DC-area crowd, having been one of our own for many years. Even if he can't come with us, his knowledge is immensely valuable and we really look forward to everyone meeting him.

Fees: Lodging and Coaching: $1400

Loaner gear: $250, includes kayak and paddle, transport

Deposit: $400, remainder due in early November

Deadline: November 1, final event planning will occur based on who made commitments

We can park one trailer per villa we book. I know my trailer will be there. Looking ahead there may be room for a second trailer, if we have book a second villa. (more than 5 paddlers)

If you decide you'd like to reserve one of the limited slots please be prepared to make a deposit of $400. Remainder for trip will be billed at the start of November.
