About the event
Back by popular demand our river skills for sea kayak club returns for the year. You MUST commit to a full weekend to attend. We find our club members who do both days achieve so much more than those who skip a day.
Own a plastic sea kayak? It will likely work for this.
Anything from a Journey 13.5 to a Scorpio has been down these runs with us.
Rob always attends these events in a short boat so that he can manuever more quickly than the long boats.
First day will be a gorge large enough for sea kayaks, tidal Potomac
High 0823 Low 1522 Height 3.4 feet!
Meet time will be 10 am
Second day will be a launch for the upper Potomac, fresh water
No tides
Meet time will be 10 or 11 am
Pack water/lunch for both days
