About the event
Part 1, meet at Fletcher's Cover in the LOWER parking lot at 11 am. Launch by 11:30. If you need more time to prepare, or you know you'll be forced to park in the upper lot due to the height of your car, come early.
Rocks and Currents in the Little Falls Gorge. This is the area below Little Falls. Plenty of rocks, currents, eddy lines, some times surf waves.
Composite or plastic sea kayaks, your normal kit, HELMET, pack water and lunch. Return to cars around 3 pm.
Dinner and debrief at Tallyho in Potomac on our way back to the highway.
No charge to enter park. Flushies in upper lot.
TUNNEL!! See video. If you have a tall SUV, or your boat stacks tall, 7 feet and above, come with wheels and walk down.
