Painted wood frame.
First piece in series. Shells, sea pottery, and sea glass. Worn and shaped by the rocks, sand, shells, and tides of the waters I paddle. I also sometimes use semi-precious gemstones--apatite, aquamarine, garnets, opals, whatever catches my eye.
 
This piece is not heavy and hangs easily on a wall with minimal hardware.

I am a genuine sea glass collector. I don't use any sea glass that was not collected from the beaches and banks of our coastal rivers, bays, and oceans.
